Busy Summer

What a busy summer I'm having! Spending time with family during the school break and trying to get as much writing done whenever I can fit it in. It's 9:09pm and things have slowed down, but now I'm sleepy (damn it all)

Writing in 'First Person'

Okay, my current manuscript was going nowhere. (There, I said it) I was about thirty pages in and couldn't get comfortable with the guy running around in my head. I loved the story concept, but I wasn't feeling my main character. I'd been writing about him for weeks and still didn't know him. I was observing him, but couldn't figure out what drove the guy. I was writing in third person (which I love) but it just didn't...fit. Now that I've given first person a shot, it's as if I've slipped on a pair of warm fuzzy slippers in the middle of winter time. Suddenly his actions don't leave me second guessing myself. Anyway, 'til next time...

Working on new novel

Hi all,
I've been busy working on my latest novel (exciting)
Sorry I haven't posted in a minute.
I've also been following the elections in Iran. Makes me glad
to be an American.

Edits Done

Just finished the edits on a romance manuscript, and I must say...it came out really nice.
I trimmed about 20,000 words. It reads so much better.
Now I'm on the hunt for a new agents. I'd rather be writing my next book!!!!

Screenplay

I've decided on Finley Fairule as the title to my screenplay. It's my main character's name. So, there you have it.

Working on a title

I'm working on a title for my fantasy manuscript and it's driving me up a wall.
